• provide opportunity for children to play with other children and adults, such as taking children to the park
• set good example and be a role model for your children, for example,   

sharing toys and be empathetic to other people

• using story to teach children about some basic social principal , such as   

respecting people, sharing and politeness etc.

• arrange opportunities for children to be leaders, it can strengthen the interest and confidence of children to social with other people. For example: let the children play with younger children so that he or she can learn how to help younger children and support them
• give children more opportunity to resolve disputes between companions, adult avoids giving intervention immediately when there are disputes. Children can learn the importance of observing rules , how to negotiate and compromise with others.
