  Family Support Programmes
A wide range of family support programmes, such as educational talks / workshops, family outings and community visits, are in the pipeline to build up a support network among ethnic minority families of children with special needs and enable them to tap personal, community & cultural resources in bringing up children. Apart from that, parent-child activities are held to enhance the positive family relationships.

  Parent Education
Educational talks, workshops and support groups are carried out to enhance their knowledge and skills on SEN as well as their self-efficacy in bringing up their children.

  Support services for children and youth
Training groups such as social skills training, attention training group and Chinese learning group are held to meet the developmental and learning needs.

Training for Professionals
Sharing workshops are conducted regularly to enhance the knowledge of special educational needs of professionals involved in the services provision for the ethnic minority families. Hence the suspected cases can be early referred and intervened.

  Resource lending service
An array of resources including storybooks and toys which are in South Asian languages are added in our library. These resources does not only facilitate the in-home training for children, but also fit better to their cultural context.
