Lady wellness group 2.0

We have made bracelets and hairbands with colorful beads together with hairbands with clothes. It is always rewarding to see satisfying faces from our members and that they could freely talk with each other.

Parent Yoga Group & Babysitting sessions

As parent yoga group continues, parents began to have more sharing on themselves on different aspects. It was also a good time for parents to take care of themselves while their child are being taken care too.

Parent-child Spikeball group & Children Spikeball Group

We are happy to see gradual improvement among our members including their motor skills, hand-eye coordination and social skills in this fun and healthy game! By trying out different sports, our members could get to know more about themselves and learn different skillsets in different settings.

Special Needs Mythbuster

Sponsored by the Kowloon City & Yau Tsim Mong District Social Welfare Office in Social Welfare Department, we were able to design and create two posters and one leaflet to clarify information related to Special Needs. We also delivered these materials to many of the centres within Heep Hong Society as well as other centres nearby. Moreover, we held two sessions of zoom briefing for frontline staff to enhance their knowledge on special needs. We have also invited the multicultural community to take part in an online prize competition to raise community awareness. Many parents shared that the materials made were useful for them to understand more on special needs.

Speak like a local Zoom Chinese Class for parents

As the group proceeds, we are glad to see how hardworking the parents are. Contextualized scenarios are adopted to facilitate their understanding on the application of these colloquial Cantonese.

Chinese Learning Group

By understanding the word structure, it is hoped that the child can recognize Chinese words better. Chinese story-telling was also used to help immerse them into the Chinese environment.
